Grape harvest, health and laughter - everything the body and soul need in September

September is always a month of transition. As the heat slowly subsides, the first raindrops wash the dust off the leaves and the earth breathes with a new, calming freshness. When, after a few cloudy days, the sun breaks through the treetops, you can feel all of nature breathing in a new rhythm. It is a moment that awakens in us the sense that it is time for change - for new energy and a new cycle.

Autumn is also a time of introspection. I won't mention all the external distractions - the start of school, big projects and the chaos that flares up at work once again. I want to remind you of the feeling of connectedness - with nature, with the people we love, and with ourselves.

In these moments, loyalty takes on a different meaning. It is no longer about obligations, but about presence. When you show up at a friend's grape harvest or help a neighbour, when you share work and joy - that is loyalty that nourishes. The same is true for family: moments spent together in nature become the foundation of health and connection.

I mentioned grape harvests because for me September has always been a month dedicated to grapes and wine - important because of my hometown and the traditions preserved there, but also because of the vineyards my family owns. Anyone who has ever taken part in a grape harvest knows that it is not just physical work. It is outdoor therapy - the rhythm of hands picking cluster after cluster, the scent of earth and the wine in the making, the laughter and inevitable companionship over an abundance of good food. There is no better reminder of how much time in nature restores our strength and how much shared work empowers us.

This year we took part in so many grape harvests I can't even count them - sometimes even two in a single day. Of course, there was fatigue, but even stronger was the feeling of fulfilment, joy and togetherness. Where I come from, they say a husband is from where his wife is - and I think my beloved truly proved that this year. As a special token of appreciation, he received premium grape harvest shears and personalised gloves. If that isn't a good loyalty program, then I don't know what is.

One more detail stayed with me, which I'd like to share as a beautiful example. During one grape harvest, the owner - a well-known restaurateur and excellent winemaker, but above all a dear friend - had hidden small motivational gifts among the vines. Whoever found them received a little sign of care. These moments brought extra laughter and joy, encouraged us to keep going, and reminded us that work is always lighter when you add play and delight. The same applies in business - small tokens of appreciation, motivational "moments of surprise," - can work wonders in a team or in relationships with clients.

I would like to turn to something I know a little more about - health. It is strengthened precisely in such moments - when we breathe fresh air, when the body moves in its natural rhythm, and when we are surrounded by people with whom we share work, laughter and the feeling of being part of something bigger than ourselves. For me, grape harvest is also a school of patience and gratitude: it teaches us that fruit comes only after a long journey, that effort is always rewarded, and that beauty lies in simplicity.

When, after a day spent in the vineyard, we sit at the table and share what is usually a very generous meal, you can feel that deep peace a city can never give. It is not just rest, it is a resetting of body and spirit. As if nature is reminding us: health is not a luxury, but a return to the basics - movement, air, earth, water and laughter.

My grape harvest remains a memory I will carry with me - of nature, work, laughter and companionship. That is truly all the body and soul need. I hope that you too, this September, experienced something similar - your own grape harvest, whatever form it took, that filled your body and soul with warmth.
